“Talk me out of this”
That was the email I sent to Aaron Sinclair and Jerod Brennen in July of 2015. I knew Jerod and Aaron through Columbus’ indie movie scene, but this pitch was different: No lights. No cameras. Just action.
I’ve been a fan of old-time radio since I was in high school, getting cassette tapes of The Shadow and Humphrey Bogart’s Bold Venture. I’ve been listening to old-time radio on podcast for a year or so when someone turned me on to Welcome to Night Vale and Our Fair City, two contemporary series.
What I’m saying is it took me a long time to get the idea we could do it ourselves.
